Hi, I'm Sam Illingworth, a poet, educator, and researcher based in Edinburgh.

Community Engagement for Researchers is a practical guide for researchers who want to build meaningful relationships with the communities they work with. It offers clear strategies for collaboration, communication, and cultural humility, alongside real-world examples and case studies.

The guide also shows how creative methods such as poetry and games can open up inclusive dialogue between science and society. It provides step-by-step advice, useful tools, and tips for overcoming common challenges.
